This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction Operations and Civil Engineering  Services – Construction Operations qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills andcompetence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. It provides the opportunity for  individuals who specialise in general building operations to demonstrate their competence. Provides a nationally recognised qualification for individuals working in this sector. 

Candidates can follow one of eight Pathways relating to their work roles:

• Pathway 1: Modular Paving Pavement Construction
• Pathway 2: Laying Kerbs and Channels
• Pathway 3: General Building Operations
• Pathway 4: Drainage Construction
• Pathway 5: Structural Concreting
• Pathway 6: Non-Structural Concreting
• Pathway 7: General Construction
• Pathway 8: Excavation and Reinstatement

The pathway that is needed to achieve this qualification will be discussed between the candidate and the assessor so that correct pathway is chosen to suit the candidates needs and suitability.

The awarding organisation for this qualification is ProQual AB. 

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification and on successful completion will allow you to apply for a Blue Skilled Worker CSCS card.
